Moreno Virtual Synths , created by Wikter & Julio Lavado.
MVX Synths are powerful synths with up to five envelopes, two filters and some modulation generators (LFO's, Envelope Generators, etc...). These synths are aimed to create a wide variety of sounds, from simple basslines to complex drones that change along time. At the moment, these synths are Windows VST Instruments versions created with SYNTHEDIT, and then no port to Mac/BeOS is possible.

8/Dec/02 - Ivory versions will dissapear in the next three months. They're fully compatible with Epoxy version (there's only a difference with the skins).
7/Jan/03 - I'm working on a manual about the Kobe macine, and now I've created a little pattern triggered drum machine called MVX DR8 . It's still an early alpha and it's only a demo. You can only download it in this section. No images yet. 600Kb download.

Yes, there's a big problem because there's only two patterns Rock1 and Rock2.
... and you'll need the Acoustic Drumkit from Steinberg's LM-9 .
31/Dec/02 - Kobe has been released and the Synths page has been updated.
29/Dec/02 - The Kobe machine is almost ready... it has been delayed due to some fixes the machine needed.
Now it will be sent to anyone want to test it and create some patches... Has anyone created some patches for the "synth of the week"???
Well... next one will be the "new" Stock (It's not new). Maybe soon the Kobe will be there.
23/Dec/02 - ...what's that??? Isn't it another soft-junk? ...maybe. Kobe is the next "bigger" synth to be released at this strambotic site.
It really works fine, but only in monophonic mode... poly mode is still a bit Overloader... errr, it really uses the 80% of my Duron800 with 4 voices... Theres's still some work to be done with the modulation matrix (the space empty is to be filled with that) but it's a pleasure to hear some weird/strange/rare/ soft/hard... and all it's multiple variations.
It's really FXXKING GOOD.
Sorry for those small controls, but I prefer to have all those controls in the same page to "patch" faster.
Send me some suggestions about colors/etc. See that pix!... and click on it to get a wider view (maybe clicking won't work well then, try to "Save as..." command).

MVX Kobe
Sí chicos, sí... como habéis leído en el cuadrillo de arriba... Esta es la última chatarra virtual que ha entrado en esta Güeb... Se llama Kobe y no es más que otro sintetizador VST ...modular.
¿Pero? ¿Cuántos sintetizadores virtuales modulares existen actualmente? Pocos, chicos, pocos... y menos aún que tengan todo el interface en una sola página... tanto por su incomodidad como por lo loco que se vuelve uno al ver tantos diales para retorcer... es una pena que no puedan ser de giro infinito como los de Waldorf... pero no todo es alegría en este mundo.
Es un devorador de CPU en modo polifónico, y no creo que pueda hacer mucho para evitar este problema, no obstante aún no está acabado, le falta una matriz de modulación de 6x8, aunque es posible que por falta de espacio se quede en 6x6. La verdad es que ya está de por sí bastante comprimido todo.
Enviadme cualquier sugerencia respecto al color o características que no veáis en la foto de al lado (pinchad en la imagen y se abrirá otra más descriptiva... si os fijáis, toda esa maraña de "cables" no es más que la pantalla de edicion de Synthedit que enseña los envíos de un par de osciladores... imaginaros lo que es la matriz!!!.
Por cierto, NECESITA casi 15Mb de RAM para el solito. Avisados estáis... Pasáos el sábado o el Domingo que seguro que ya hay algunos sonido o alguna "beta"... (de hecho casi todo en esta página es beta debido a la falta de colaborasión de los Users.
17/Dec/02 - MVX Stock... the first try with PD Oscillators... mmm they really sound good, but it's a shame no PWidth/Sync controls could be used with. Look at the download section, maybe it's there yet.
15/Dec/02 - Some changes made to the page and new "epoxy" versions. Does anyone knows what means Ivory/Epoxy??? Someone may not. Its just the skin used to create the synth. Ivory series are White and Epoxy are black and have a smaller interface. The Epoxy versions are newer and take advantage of an enough clear interface with smaller size.
New versions of MVX2, MVXGroth and MVM. Names are needed for synths. The original names will be kept and the new names will be added... sorry but the MVX Groth is already "named".
11/Dec/02 - Thanks for little feedback. I need YOUR OPINIONS. Anyone should give me one.
Someone told me that the links weren't working were the ones at banks section...now I expect that the CASE letters won't be a problem again. I've renamed and reuploaded the banks.
10/Dec/02 - Some News Today... At this time I've done NOTHING... but buying a Notebook with a P-4 CPU.... It's the real shit some people talk about... When a DENORMAL number exists, the CPU works very slowly just as a 1/4 power CPU. Intel fails again.
But it's a good new for P-4 owners because I've got to recompile the synths to create "NOTDENORMALISED" synths.
Thanks for the comment..., but try to use the links at the "toolbars" to move around the page. It's easy when you understand that, and works fine. I'll try to move the "synth" section to another page.(NOTFORuRICE)
4/Dec/02 - Here they are:
MVFb , a 2 Oscillator simple analog machine. Here there's a 24dB "engine".
MVb ... a really basic Monosynth with up to Three voices. It's interesting just for bassslines and it's very cheap to the CPU. New samplers are online.
3/Dec/02 - Some News Today... It seems 0catch site is a REAL SHIT!!!. Sorry, for the time it will be here where i'll be uploading stuff. I'm managing to find a provider The new MVb is ready, and another simple synth is also ready, I expect it'd be ready tonight...

23/Nov/02 - An unfinished tutorial to MVX synths is ready to be downloaded... It's a Word Version for now. Some new Epoxy versions created... now redistributing interface. There's also a new Wave+Sf2 sampler, but It's not still online.
I don't know How much of you have sent me comments, but I've received no mail from the FORM below. Have you seen that? Scroll to the links section, please.
29/Nov/02 - Some News Today... Finally An epoxy Version is Online... Black background and a compact interface will be identified by €. At this time, the only available version is MVX3, go to the Downloads section and take a look at that.
Also some banks has been added, and some recompiled synths with polished sounds will be online on next few days. Ooops... I left things to explain, but Emmanuel Perillon has sent me some Patches... HAS ANYONE SOME PATCHES TOO???
I've compiled them in banks with "CHAINER", that is a good synthmanager I recommend all of you to use for testing purposes (e.g., when you download an effect and don't want to see that frozen Logic/Cubase/Buzz window the first time it's loaded...)
PLEASE... give a USE to THE KVR FORUM.
23/Nov/02 - I'm 25!! The site is moving to mvxsynths.0catch.com At this time I'm testing... Take a look to this new one: MVS Sorry Emmanuel, I've got not enough time to compile banks and upload them into the Web. Next time I'll put them in download Section. PLEASE, all of you should take a look to the KVR Forum which is the one i'm using for "support" and suggestions.
13/Nov/02 - VERSION NUMBERING!!! I'll follow version numbering from now. The old "Presets & stuff" has changed to "Downloads" and now includes the info about the version number of each synth.
I've found some "not all parameters could be loaded" in some of these new synths, but seems that almost all parameters except the "ZERO" slider load correctly. It's not really a problem, The "Zero" slider didn't exist in the graphical interface, it was only in the "parameters list" and changing it didn't do almost anything.

10/Nov/02 - Error!!, Last compiled versions were made with Synthedit 0.84.
9/Nov/02 - Now all the versions online are Polyphonic... take care with those long releases specially with MVM and MVF4 :)
9/Nov/02 - Ivory Interface READY All series have been recompiled with Synthedit beta.85 There's also an Epoxy Interface version for every synth, but not online now. See Images.
7/Nov/02 - "Developing" Ivory Interface... Some knobs will change their positions, but no name will change to avoid incompatibilities.
4/Nov/02 - MVX Sol Changes..., It has been renamed MVX3, It's a simple 3Osc Substractive synth with 4pole Multimode filter. It seems faster
1/Nov/02 - A fat stereo flanger is to be released... also with a lite version for simple flange effects. No comments, I expect that someone try to send me some questions about some ot their knobs. If it's needed, I'll create some README stuff. I've also optimized the size of all of my plugins... now they are smaller...
28/Oct/02 - VF2/4 has been reskinned with a Roland VP9000 bitmap... and it's ready to be uploaded. There are some controls. Couple mode allows to control the second filter parameters using the first filter controls. To work properly, the Filter2 should have ZERO values on al his knobs (Reso and Cutoff set to 0 and ENV set also to 0.000).
24/Oct/02 - MVX Sol, a very typical polyphonic machine has been finally released at soundface. Soon it'll be here too ready to download. It's a 2+1OSC=>Filter with LFO+2EG, provided with 24dB LP/HP/BP modes.
19/Oct/02 - Woooo... bad news.. another synth is coming. It's called VF4... and has a little brother called VF2. They're still not ready to download, but I'll put an alpha to VF2 HERE.
18/Oct/02 - Hell!... sorry for the delay in the fix of the link to MVX4. At this time it isn't ready, and surely it won't be released. Instead of that use the MVM. In fact, I'm planning a new VX4 as a multioutput polysynth (and will take advantage of multioutput).
Updated Moreno VMLite, old presets will not work because parameter names have changed. I won't do twice, it cost me a lot of time and I've "lost" some good patches.
It seems that the "subsections" doesn't works as expected... does anyone know how to move to a different part of a page using links???
17/Oct/02 - pfff... illness invades me. SynthEdit upgraded to beta0.78 fixing some bugs. The Cutresalchichero EQ is ready... for Beta...
14/Oct/02 - I've been working in a very "cutresalchichero" EQ, it's BandPass filterbank, surely not phase lineal, but interesting for EQing sad sounds.
16/Oct/02 - I'm planning to port the page to another host, at this time it's tedious to update the page due to my connection speed limitations.
